The Apartments

The Parterre is a NON-SMOKING establishment, consisting of 6 self-contained units, safely situated within the main house, each with its own entrance from the elegant Victorian staircase. Apartment 5 being on a higher level does enjoy a lovely sea view towards the Bay and Culver Down. The apartments are very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished to a high standard with attention to detail you would expect. All apartments are equipped with full kitchens, welcome packs, colour televisions, clock radios, hair-dryers and heating for all year round comfort.

Ground floor

Apartment 2 Equipped for up to 2 people.
Entrance Hall : Spacious Lounge : Double Bedroom : Bathroom : Kitchen Diner leading to small patio. Free heating by 3 night storage heaters.

First floor

Apartment 3 Equipped for up to 4 people.
Entrance Hall : Large Lounge/Kitchen Diner : 2 Bedrooms, one Double and one Twin (2 single beds) : Bathroom with shower over.

Apartment 4 Equipped for up to 2 people.
Lounge with Double Wall Bed : Shower room: Kitchen Diner.

Apartment 5 Equipped for up to 2 people.
Entrance Hall : Double Bedroom : Short flight of stairs within flat leading to Lounge : Bathroom: Kitchen Diner. Distant sea views of Sandown Bay.

Apartment 6 Equipped for up to 3/4 people.
Entrance Hall : Lounge/Kitchen Diner : 1 Double Bedroom & 2nd Bedroom : Bathroom.

Apartment 7 Equipped for up to 2/3 people.
Entrance Hall : Lounge Diner with sofa bed: Shower room: Kitchen : Double Bedroom.

All the apartments are fully equipped including complimentary welcome packs, colour TVs and modern fitted kitchens with full size cookers, fridge freezers, microwave ovens, irons (steam) and ironing boards & hair dryers. There is a 24 hour return laundry service.

There is ample heating available in all rooms and all the apartments are fully self-contained with their own private bathrooms (Toilet, washbasin and bath except flats no. 4 & 7 which have a shower, toilet and washbasin).
A refurbishment is to commence winter 2006. We aim to include showers in all of the new bathrooms for the apartments.

As from 2007 all prices include linen. All beds will be made with freshly laundered cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers.

Towels may be Hired for 60p each (hand) and 75p each (bath).

The apartments are “all electric” and have pre-payment meters (£1 coins).

Bookings are accepted any day to any day and short breaks of up to 3 nights are available at 60% or 4 nights at 80% of the weekly rate except from June until September when only Saturday-to-Saturday or Sunday-to- Sunday bookings are accepted.  See the tariff and availability pages.

Children welcome (minimum age 3 years).

Pets are accepted by arrangement out of high season.
